# Open a station and check people in

## Open the station for the day

At the start of the day, open the paired station and select **Open station for today**. You only need to do this once for that station. Memberply switches to each activity automatically as the timetable progresses.

If the timetable changes unexpectedly, select the correct activity from **Today's activities**.

## Check in a member

* Scan the member's QR card with the connected scanner; or
* select **Scan with camera** and hold the QR card inside the frame.

You can also paste a QR value and select **Check in**.

## If the member forgot their card

Select **Member forgot card**, search for the member and confirm the correct record.

## Check in a visitor

Select **Check in a visitor**, enter only the details needed for attendance and confirm their consent. Memberply creates the visitor record and checks them in immediately.
