# Use the dashboard

The **Dashboard** gives you a quick view of the organisation's current membership and activity information.

Use it to identify items that need attention and follow shortcuts into the relevant area of Memberply. The information shown depends on your role and permissions.

For initial setup, use **Getting Started** instead. That page provides a guided checklist and marks each required setup step complete automatically.

Use the organisation name in the top bar to confirm that you are working in the correct community. Your profile, accessibility controls and sign-out action are also available from the top area of the application.
